It Cuts Deep

She's sitting in her room because every single word that comes out of his mouth pisses her off. Even the sight of him disgusted her. She couldn't stand to be in the same room as him, so she went to the only place she knew she could. Her room. Away from him. The loud music, that they hated, put her in a better mood, but not for long. He came in her room, trying to tell her something but just seeing his face made her want to vomit. She didn't catch anything he said, her only response was 'k'. As soon as he left the music from her room got louder. They don't even realize. They have no idea she is hurt. At this point everything that everyone said just pisses her off. She has to turn her music down to make everyone happy, she basically had to turn it off. That made her mad, madder than she already was. The only thing she could think of doing to make it all better as to cut again. It had been a good four or five months since she had last done it. In the back of her mind she knew it wasn't the right thing to do. But she picked up a bobby pin and took the plastic part off the end so it was sharp. This time she went for her wrist. She started digging at her skin with the sharp end. One straight line, nothing fancy. It was good enough for her, the pain felt so good. Now it was numb. All the feelings. Everything. Numb. She saw blood, but that didn't stop her. Most of the people she knew stopped when they saw blood, but not her. She kept on going at it, back and forth with the bobby pin, through the blood and all, nothing was stopping her. Finally she snapped out of it and stopped. She realized it was stupid and wondered why she had done it. As soon as it heals it will leave a scar. The scar that he left. The scar that pushed her over the edge. She will never be able to look at him again without knowing he made her do it, made her cut deeper than she had ever cut.
